Native to South Africa's Western Cape and Namaqualand, this plant grows on mossy, lichen-covered slopes in warm, dry habitats. It is a relatively fast grower, with yellowish-green flowers and leaves that can turn burgundy under sun stress. Nicknamed the African Palm Tree.

Plant is in 4" pot and around 12 - 18" tall.
