Native to Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and Somalia, this plant thrives in the arid to semi-arid environment of the Arabian Peninsula, enduring high heat and low rainfall. It grows in rocky outcrops, dry ditches, lake beds, slopes, valleys, or shaded shrub patches. Its 2 cm star-shaped flowers bloom briefly and emit a decaying odor to attract pollinators. The flowers vary in color, with black, maroon, purple, or green banding over a cream background, and a red-toned center. Regular outdoor temperature fluctuations are necessary for it to bloom. We love this species for its incredible otherworldly tiny flowers.
Plant is in 2.5" pot and you will receive the exact specimen in picture.
