Public Land Gallery is excited to announce the upcoming group exhibition Lovers Rock, featuring works of 10 artists curated by San Francisco-based multidisciplinary artist and curator, Matthew Badja.  This eclectic collection of artists work in a variety of mediums that include painting, sculpture, graphic design, tattooing, quilting, illustration, mixed media and more. Lovers Rock will showcase both established and emerging creatives, and will also commemorate the upcoming celebration of love on the 14th. The exhibition will feature Justin Hager, Kristine Reano, Ellie Andrews, Alán González, Michelle Fernandez, Emilio villalba, Gustavo Martinez, Odessa Blackmore, Josh Edwards, and Palko Rezucha. 

There will be an opening reception for Lovers Rock on February 10 from 5- 8 P..M. The exhibition will be on view February 10 - April 5th., 2024.

 About the curator:

Matthew Badja has been exhibiting his artwork both domestically and internationally for the last 20 years. He works in the mediums of photography, sculpture, illustration and design. His work has been featured in Vice, Hamburger Eyes, Voyage LA, Piece By Piece Movie and more. Badja has also been a member of several prominent Bay Area bands such as Funeral Diner, Portraits of Past, Who Calls So Loud and more.
